For *ClubInuyashas new year contest

Fireworks, I've heard theories that it's the sound of them when going up that creates/starts the fear in dogs.

I think I lack a good explanation and a lot of sence to this pic, especially since I do not remember if Inu Yasha ever where in contact with fireworks in the anime (no clue about the manga), also fireworks have been around for many, many years so probably even in his time. And of course, I remain out of character! Arrrgh! I never learn, do I?

Mini fanfic (bad english included, you may complain and correct me)
Kagome brought back from here time some exclusive new fireworks to entertain the people in the village with during this new year. But in the middle of the fun she soon realized Inu Yasha was missing.
Not to far away, unbeknownst to anyone Inu Yasha fled up a hill, full of doggiefear for those terrible noises. Noises that created panic far worse than any demon could ever do. Not knowing what he was doing, he obviously got a little clumsy and when he suddenly saw his half brother sitting there, leant back on the rock looking at those same terrifying fireworks whitout the slightest glimse of fear, he stumbled, right in front of his brothers feet.
Inu Yasha glanced back at those fireworks and when a new one was rising to the sky he for some reason dropped his Tetsusaiga to the side and crawled up into his brothers arms,
Inu yasha whispering: Invincible brother protect me
Sesshomaru became a bit confused, but somewhere inside, his calm mind tried to dance to those words, especially that invincible one. And glancing at the thrown away Tetsusaiga he probably felt very flatterned. So he stayed calm and layed his only hand on his halfbrothers shoulder. Somewhat satisfied, what no one sees, no one will know.
