The girls name (in white) is Reika and is her character.

So, back to Skythe
He is a full demon, a dog demon, the third child of a quite common level demon pair and he is weak as a lower demon type.
But at least he has the looks.

Characteristics
He has a habit of staring at things in a very uncomfortable way – for the one who gets stared at.
He thinks a lot a talks little, often ”wanders” in his own little imaginary world. Oh, well he does talk, but in quite short sentences and often with the feeling that he was supposed to say more.
He likes little children.

He often watched over his younger sisters as the parents where busy. All until they felt so ashamed of his incapacity and weakness that they kicked him out, hoping some other demon would eat him.
He came to travel along with some older halfbreed for a year. Until now – and the latest two years - when he has been adopted by some sweet old humans, not minding having a week demon in their hut, as mentioned before – he has the looks.

His hair and fur colours are supposed to be dark-reddish-brown.
Eyes dark purple-grey-ish.
And out of what might be poor judgment of the anime I address him as a weak demon that can't truly take a humanoid shape (I think there is a pattern there, not sure). His ears stay and so does the end of his toes (but he still walks on his heels like a human). No tail.
Supposed to look like he is like ten to twelve years.
He has a long “pony-tail” that looks very similar to his tail in dog form.
He has a marking on his back that looks like two scythes.
Also the markings on his cheek(s) was supposed to look similar to the fur on his face (in dog shape), but it just got wrong here. (And I write as confusing as a headshot unicorn with multiple personalities).

For some non-demonic feature his powers raise a little during sunrise, and of course they “flee” during night, then he ain't strong enough to take on a human shape, and there is also the reason why the old humans “adopted” him, this is how he looks during the night (below)
