It should be obvious to those who knows the pony-stories that this was inspired by Majesty's mirror that provide the ponies with babies. I have never heard or read the story myself - obviously - so I just let the flow of the moment lead me^^
I think I heard that it was an actual G1-thing about a year ago. And saw the first hint of it a few years earlier - not knowing it was the "real" thing.

So. I used the mirror and throne from Dream Castle (playset) to design a more interesting mirror for this image. And it felt about right that Majesty's magic would be involved, but my guess is that the original gives more credit to the mirrors magic - but I surely don't know XD
The phrase for Majesty  "and she twirled her magic horn", the way it was translated to swedish always confused me, not knowing if they meant that her horn was spinning around or if she was doing something with her head... I chose head for this image XD
Originally the idea was for the mirror to reflect the scene but I changed it so what Blossom sees is "her dreams about the purest love" (or something like that) and that gives Majesty the ability to make it true! - Grant that wish!

I wanted baby Blossom when I was a child. Quite impressive that I still haven't managed to get her, after all these years
